Polish Wedding

A wonderfully funny movie!!! Lena got the opportunity to show off her funny side, and she passed with flying colours. She has perfect comedic timing and wonderful presence. Her character, the mother, Jadzia, is a force to be reckoned with, just ask her daughter's boyfriend!!! Watch out for the scene where Jadzia leads her family to the boyfriend's house, hockey sticks in hand...that's the funniest part of all IMO. Lena also has a very nice chemistry with Gabriel Byrne, who plays her timid husband. The only thing keeping this from a perfect 10 is that the beginning is a bit slow, but don't worry, the humour picks up eventually and goes on with full force! My rating:
